As a designer fabricator builder I have specific requirements

My custom wood furniture commissions benefit from over 35 years of design and fabrication experience in wood, metal, and graphic media. I have formal training in architectural and industrial design, instilling an understanding and appreciation of design tradition. I have worked as a prototype machinist, tool designer, design draftsman, graphic artist, metal fabricator, finish carpenter, cabinet-maker, and general contractor. These disciplines have contributed to a synthesis of skills and insights that have found expression over the past several years in my current work as a furniture designer and builder.

I am comfortable working in most styles, from traditional to the uniquely contemporary. My most current works show influences from the Arts and Crafts movement of Europe and America, as well as Asian, Deco, Nouveau, and Southwestern elements. Regardless of style, I remain strongly committed to integrity
